Innova Disc Golf / Putters & approach discs
Innova DX Aviar Putt and Approach, 173–175g
A DX putting and approach option with rim details to confirm.
WHY COMPARE THIS MODEL
A DX putting and approach option with rim details to confirm.
Aviar Putt and Approach is a choice for putting and straight approaches with a modest stated finish. The selected listing gives 2 / 3 / 0 / 1 and describes a straight flight with a predictable finish. DX emphasizes grip and wear progression, making it useful to compare when you want to learn one familiar putting mold over time.
This offer selects 173–175g with colors varying and one disc supplied. If bead shape is central to your grip, confirm the exact delivered version: the merchant description calls it a small-bead model, while Innova’s current Aviar page describes the Putt and Approach as beadless. Neither statement is silently used to replace the other.
Innova’s model page gives a 21.2-centimeter diameter and 0.9-centimeter rim width; these are model measurements rather than the package’s dimensions or a unit weighing. DX Invader is an alternative with a clearly described flat top and rounded small bead, while DX Polecat provides a different speed-one placement role.

Where this model is useful
- A putting-and-approach role supports learning one mold across several short-shot uses.
- DX provides a grip/wear choice distinct from a premium material.
Trade-offs to check
- Rim/bead wording disagrees between merchant and current maker page. Generic 5.6oz item mass does not match the selected gram range.
What to check before choosing
Confirm the bead if it matters
The merchant says small bead, while the current maker page calls Aviar Putt and Approach beadless.
Keep the selected mass scope
173–175g is the selector range; a generic ounce entry is not accepted as a unit measurement.
