Innova Disc Golf / Midrange discs
Innova Halo Star Fox, 175–177g
A glide-focused Halo Star midrange for woods and turnover roles.
WHY COMPARE THIS MODEL
A glide-focused Halo Star midrange for woods and turnover roles.
Fox is worth comparing when you want glide and turnover options while staying in a midrange role. Innova lists straight woods shots, controlled turnovers and standstill approaches among its uses. The 5 / 6 / −2 / 1 values give it a different intended balance from the more strongly turning Rollo, despite both being speed-five Innova midranges.
This is the Halo Star version in a selected 175–177g range. Its two-tone injection gives the rim a different color from the flight plate, with the actual colors varying. The listing also describes Halo Star as more gliding and overstable than standard Star, so that blend distinction belongs in the choice alongside the mold.
Choose Fox for the described woods/approach versatility rather than treating the phrase fairway-like as a change of category. If rolling and sweeping turnovers are the specific missing task, Halo Star Rollo is another Innova option. A more neutral straight-shot midrange is a different role to compare, not a reason to expect Fox to ignore release angle or throwing power.
