HIAARO / Practice baskets
HIAARO Black/Red Folding Practice Basket with Carry Bag
A folding target supplied with a carry bag and three ground spikes.
WHY COMPARE THIS MODEL
A folding target supplied with a carry bag and three ground spikes.
The HIAARO target is worth comparing when you plan to take a basket down and carry it between practice locations. Its umbrella-shaped folding design combines a metal frame with a fabric basket, and the listed 14.6 lb weight is paired with a 25 in shrunken storage length. A carry bag is explicitly described for shoulder, crossbody or hand transport.
The supplied setup includes 16 heavy-duty zinc-coated chains and three zinc-coated ground spikes. The main image shows one basket, its carry bag and three separate spikes. The seller also describes a spray-plastic-coated frame and UV-resistant fabric; these are construction claims rather than an independent weather-life rating.
If you want an all-metal cage instead of fabric, compare the Black Hole Lite or Blue Yaheetech. The seller supplies a PDGA approval date and certification number, but exact official approval still needs independent confirmation if event requirements determine your purchase.

Where this model is useful
- Carry bag and collapsed-length information make transport planning more concrete.
- The carry bag and three ground spikes come with the folding target.
Trade-offs to check
- The 25 in value is a collapsed-size claim, not an established basket diameter.
- UV/rust and approval claims are not independently tested or certified here.
What to check before choosing
Measure storage
Compare the 25 in collapsed length with your transport space; no full packed-envelope drawing is supplied.
Choose basket construction
Fabric folding construction differs from an all-metal cage; select the format deliberately.
Your questions about this product
Is the storage bag actually included?
Yes. Easy Moving explicitly describes the storage bag, and it is shown beside the basket.
Does 25 in mean the target is 25 in wide?
The relevant bullet says the basket shrinks to 25 in. It is a storage-size description, not an established assembled diameter.
How many ground spikes come with it?
Three zinc-coated spikes are explicitly described and shown.
Can I rely on this approval for an event?
The seller provides an approval date and certificate number. Confirm the exact official model record and the event’s requirements; those details have not been independently matched here.
